Passport Services
Although the Government of Pakistan has started online processing of Machine Readable Passports, but we encourage our Esteemed Diaspora to process their Machine Readable Passport from the Consulate. It is more convenient and less costly than the online facility. However, for online Passport Services, please visit https://onlinemrp.dgip.gov.pk/.
Note: The Consulate has no role in dealing with online MRP applications.
Basic Requirements for Processing of Machine Readable Passport (MRP):
Only a Legal Pakistani citizen, having valid CNIC, Passport and Turkish Residence Permit is eligible for MRP Services.
Personal Presence of the applicant is mandatory at the time of Passport Processing.
Please must bring copies of CNIC/NICOP, Passport, Turkish Resident Permit or Turkish Visa of the applicant along with Original IDs.
In case of loss of Passport, Please also register an FIR with the relevant Police Station in Istanbul. 1st time lost passport will be charged double fees and 2nd time lost will be multiplied by 4 times of the bellow mentioned fees.
No need of Passport copy in case of newly born baby.
- If the applicant is under 10 years of age, a Pakistani passport, valid Turkish residence permit, and old B-Form/CRC/CNIC/NICOP are required. If the applicant is between 10 to 18 years of age, a Pakistani passport, valid Turkish residence permit, and a new biometric B-Form/CRC/CNIC/NICOP are required.
- If the applicant is under 18, parents (Father and Mother) must be present at the Consulate along with the applicant. However, if any parent is unable to be present, he/she must have to provide NOC (duly attested from MOFA or Foreign Mission) for passport processing. In case of parental divorce, Guardianship Certificate from the respective court (duly attested from MOFA or Foreign Mission) must be provided.

Note: It may be noted that passports are printed in Pakistan and information regarding deliverance of passports will be updated on website once received from the Pakistani authorities
