NADRA Services
The NICOP,POC, ID cancellation, FRC & Succession Certificate facilities are now available at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Istanbul. However, the decision rests with NADRA Islamabad for application’s approval or refusal. The NICOP/POC cards are printed in Pakistan and dispatched to the concerned applicants at their respective addresses.
If it is not feasible for anyone to visit the Consulate in person, NADRA services are also available online through the Pak Identity app, accessible via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
**Important Notes**
If you apply online, you must directly contact NADRA Headquarters in Islamabad or the NADRA Helpline for any inquiries or support.
Once an application is submitted online and is in process, the Consulate cannot initiate a new application for you.
If you wish to switch to processing your application at the Consulate after applying online, you must first apply for a refund through NADRA. Once your refund is successfully processed, you can then visit the Consulate to submit a new application.
If you are in urgent need and choose to proceed through the Consulate without waiting for a refund, your online application will be deleted, and you will not be eligible to claim a refund.
Requirements for NICOP Application for a Newly Born Baby
To apply for a NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis) for a newly born baby, please ensure the following documents are provided:
S-1 Form – Issued by the relevant Pakistani Mission in the country of birth.
Father’s and Mother’s Documents:
Valid Passport
Valid Pakistani CNIC/NICOP
Valid Turkish Residence Permit or Visa
Baby’s Recent Photograph
All documents must be presented in original along with clear photocopies.
Requirements for NICOP Renewal
To renew your NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis), please ensure the following documents are provided:
- Personal Appearance:
- The applicant must be present in person.
- Bring the original valid Passport, existing NICOP/CNIC/B-Form, and a valid Turkish Residence Permit.
- Copies of both parents’ CNIC/NICOP.
- In case of a parent’s death, please provide a copy of the death certificate.
- For Married Applicants:
- Copy of Marriage Certificate
- Copy of Spouse’s CNIC/NICOP
- If the spouse is a foreign national, provide a copy of their foreign passport and ID.
**Please ensure all documents are clear and legible. Originals must be presented at the time of application submission.
Requirements for CNIC/NICOP/B-Form Cancellation
To cancel your Pakistani ID (CNIC/NICOP/B-Form), please bring the following documents:
- Original Pakistani Passport
- Valid Foreign Passport
- Pakistani CNIC/NICOP/B-Form
- Foreign National ID
- Download the ID Cancellation Affidavit from the Consulate’s website (Downloads section).
- The applicant and two witness must sign the affidavit in the presence of a Consulate officer.
Requirements for POC – Ex-Pakistani Applicants
The applicant must be present in person.
Bring the following original documents:
- Valid foreign passport
- Cancelled NICOP/CNIC/B-Form
- National ID of the country of current nationality
- Copies of both parents’ CNIC/NICOP In case of a parent’s death, please provide a copy of the death certificate
For Married Applicants
- Copy of Marriage Certificate
- Copy of spouse’s CNIC/NICOP
- If the spouse is a foreign national, provide a copy of their foreign passport and national ID
Copy of any Pakistani blood relative’s CNIC/NICOP (sibling, etc.)
Requirements for POC – Spouse-Based Applicants
To apply for a Pakistan Origin Card (POC) on the basis of marriage to a Pakistani national, the following requirements must be fulfilled:
The applicant must be present in person, accompanied by their Pakistani spouse.
- Birth certificate
- Valid foreign passport
- National ID of the applicant’s current nationality
- Copies of both parents’ passports and ID cards
- In case of a parent’s death, please provide a copy of the death certificate
- Copy of Marriage Certificate
- Copy of spouse’s CNIC/NICOP/POC
- Spouse-Based Affidavit:
- Download the affidavit form from the Consulate’s website (Downloads section)
- The applicant and two witness must sign the affidavit in the presence of a Consulate officer
Requirements for all categories are as under:
- Presence of applicant;
- Original/copy of CNIC / NICOP / Form ‘B’ of Parents/Blood relatives;
- Presence of Parent(s)/Blood relative(s) for Biometric Verification;
- S.C or equivalent certificate / DMC / Domicile / Passport;
- If needed, age Assessment Certificate of Government hospital, duly singed;
- Utility bill (electricity, gas or water) on self/spouse/parent name in Pakistan;
- Property document of applicant/parent.
- ‘Nikkahnama /Marriage Certificate/Affidavit/Spouse CNIC (if available),
- Passport/POC/POR/ACC (in case of foreign spouse) (For marriage)
- Payment of fee is charged online through credit card, which will be automatically converted in PKR. You will be allowed to enter the details yourself.
SUCCESSION CERTIFICATE:
- The applications for Succession Certificate are uploaded in Pakistan. The Succession Certificate must be first generated at Pakistan and for biometric verifications, we need a reference number to do any required biometric/document attestation here at the Consulate. The fee of NADRA Related Services:
Please bring your Debit or Credit Card to pay NADRA’s online processing fee.Fees are listed in the table below and may vary due to currency fluctuations. In addition to NADRA’s Online Fee, US$ 20 will be charged as Service Charges Fee.
